One day in January my mission was to hunt around town for some flexi hoops in a particular colour as I was not having much joy online! I had purchased one lovely green hoop last year from a little sewing shop, and it was the last one! I just loved the colour of it! I asked in the market sewing shops and they did not have any so I tried a sewing shop I used to go to when I was little (I bought my first easel from there) which I actually thought had closed. I was very lucky to find flexi frames in the colour I after, although they were oval, I just had to have them!! I learnt that the hoops have been discontinued by the manufacturers which really is a shame!! I just do not know what I will do!! I guess it is a good job I have not found any of the lovely green hoops online as I would of probably went over the top and bought every single last one!!! As I much as I hate it when a much loved product is discontinued, I will just have to find an alternative that I am happy with!
I was after some black sequins, but found them to be quite expensive by the metre, therefore I was very pleased with my next purchase,15 metres for 99p!! wowzers!
I also found some bargain jingle bell wreaths in the sales!!
And now for my online purchase, lots and lots of embroidery threads!!!!!!!! These will keep me busy, but I do not know how long for though!
Alternatively they may just sit there and be something else that is just too nice to use!
